I made this vinaigrette for a dinner party with Elizabeth Falkner, a San Francisco and Food Network chef, and she and all the guests loved it.

Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I use this all the time now and add little variations such as a little fresh parsley, thyme and minced garlic.

I loved this vinaigrette and it was easy to make.

My husband said it tasted bright and cheery.

Served this easy vinaigrette over mixed greens to go with our dinner - it was great. I did go easy on the amt. of the vinaigrette used to toss with the salad. I added some carrots, feta, and sunflower seeds to top it off.

Great versatile base recipe. The proportions are just right, so be sure to measure. I used an old dijon mustard bottle to make mine, and just shook it up instead of whisking. It tasted great on butter lettuce blend.

This dressing is delicious. I felt like it needed a little something extra so I added two tablespoons of sugar. I served it over spinach salad with feta cheese and grilled chicken. It was incredible!

Very good, I just used a bag of spinach that I had on hand and it was delish, i also used red wine instead of champange vinegar because I didnt have any. My 10 year old brother loved it:

This is a delicious vinaigrette. It also works great on potato salad, great for summer time since you don't have to use mayo.

Excellent, and super easy. I was out of champagne vinegar and garlic, so I used balsamic vinegar and the juice of half a lemon instead and got rave reviews from my guests (one of whom is a chef and asked for my recipe!. Now that I have this very versatile recipe I'll never use bottled dressing on my salad again.

Be sure to measure: I tried to "eyeball" it recently and it just wasn't the same. Also, good quality EVOO is a must. I tried it with light olive oil. Wouldn't recommend doing that.
