Just as easy and delicious as it sounds - don't go too heavy on the nutmeg however.

Delicious! Ina is one of my most favorite chefs. Of course I played with the recipe, because I can't help myself. Added some pancetta, red pepper flakes, mixed the gruyere in with the zucchini and yellow squash, and used parmesean with panko bread crumbs for the topping! Every one LOVED it. Even my kids! I will makes this again and again.

This is a favorite of mine among Ina's recipes. My family loves this, including my 9 and 4 year old sons!

Marvelous! So simple and yet so sophisticated. I used panko bread crumbs, nice crispy topping. Pair with a simple grilled fish.

This dish is awesome!! Made it for company and everyone left wanting the recipe. Made it 1/2 Zucchini & 1/2 yellow squash. Add the squash later as it cooks more quickly than the zucchini, but the yellow and green together add more color and the squash is a little sweeter than the zucchini. This is my go to vegetable for all occasions LOVE IT!!

This dish rocks. Make it in the summer when you don't know what to do with all of those zucchinis everyone gives you.

Every holiday, I am requested to make this dish. It is really good and basically after the original holiday meal, the dish is gone.

This was great! All of the flavors work wonderfully together. We had it as a main dish one evening and it was satisfying. Another time we made it using diced bread on top (3 slices as in Ina's Croque Monsieur Mac n Cheese recipe and it was even more delicious, added a great texture on top. YUM!!!!
