This was delicious and although I like pretty spicy, my son and I thought this was very spicy and were drinking water all through dinner. I like the tortilla idea and it was easy, although I used an empty beer can because that is all I had and the opening was pretty small. Next time I will use an empty 28 oz tomato can. Very nice presentation! I will make this often.

Really good salad. I didn't have tortillas so I just omitted them but still a very good and surprisingly healthy dinner. Does pack a kick though which I love spice so it was great!

My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed this recipe and it is a great spin on mexican food. I will definitely use this again. I divide the recipe in half and used smaller tortilla shells for dinner for two. I served this with homemade chips and dip.

I love this recipe, I made it word for word. The only thing is I made the Tortilla's last so they will stay hot. I cook for a Family of 5 and I can't sit down and enjoy because everyone wants more!!! This Dish is so tasty, I put extra Limes on the table. I think I might make this for dinner tonight, but I will do the tortillas first, and make extra! I didnt have enough last time, so if your a big family double up on the recipe.

This was by far one of the top five salads I've ever tasted....including restuarants! The flavors combined are addicting. My husband LOVED it and I could probably eat it every day. Will definitely make this more than once a week. Thank you for sharing this recipe Ingrid!!

I had some friends over and made this salad they loved it!!! I have also passed on the tip of making the taco shell to my dad's girlfriend this passed weekend. Made me look like a super star for coming up with the idea which I said I did not come up with I learned it from a friend on the foodnetwork this is how she did it. I made this lastnight after watching the TV show..Not only was it one of the easiest recipes I have made..It was the best taco salad I have ever had..The chicken was amazing and the bean sauce, absolutley delicioso!! My husband was so excited and thought I had been slaving in the kitchen all day! We both LOVED it and will make ita agin next time we have a dinner party!
