I made this for my dessert party and it was tasty. However next time I will just use apples, my guest wasn't thriled by the pears. Happy Cooking!

My husband and I made this together. We had them with some vanilla ice cream and they were delicious!

These were a big hit. I sprinkled them with a little cinnamon and sugar instead of the ice cream. I will double the recipe next time, because everyone loved them so much.

So good! I used 2 apples instead of a pear as well, but they were so yummy, a hit at my house! Will be making again.

made this last night, I only used apples (2 of them to substitute for pear, added a small amount of brown sugar, and when finished rolled in more sugar with cinnamon. I didn't have any tequila, but they still came out fabulous, will make this for the office party.

Simple & very good! Everything actually works very well together.
Don't really need the tequila. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar after cooking and definitely serve with vanilla ice cream.

    Even Better:

Instead of frying in veg oil, brush them with melted butter (real butter and brush skillet with a little more, no oil needed at all, then cook until brown on both sides. (This way they taste even better & your house won?t smell like fried food.

    ...I gotta go make more
