I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and this is not how we make our Arroz con Pollo. It has to many ingrediats and we never add ketchup. We do this receipe very simple and it comes our the best. Simple is always better.

i really enjoyed this dish it was so good!except that i didn't add the ketcup instead i added one small can of
tomato sauce as this is more authentic
with me being latina myself.i don't
think that anybody criticised the fact
that there is ketcup in the recipe.it'
simply stating a person's like or dis

This chicken & rice recipe was delicious. The chicken was tender, spicy, and very flavorfull.I taped the show which I am glad I did because the instructions are a little confusing, esp. when to add the ketchup and frozen veggies. The rice was GREAT!

Ingrid out the ketchup in with the peppers and the onions on the show, but his recipe calls for it to go in with the rice. How did the reviewers who made this do it?

Wow reviewer, did you make this for last nights dinner or for breakfast? I started mine just after the show aired, and it is just about done. It smells great and tastes even better. I am not a ketchup fan, so I used tomato paste. Ingrid this is the type of "latin inspired" dish I have been waiting for. I can't wait to make all the recipes from this episode. Rule to live by make it before you rate it. This is a delicious dish. It doesn't need false reviews to up the star rating. A definate keeper for me!
