This is not a real recipe, it's more of a method. It should be included with her other dish in this episode, the salmon. Cooking rice? And to those who find this aging hoochie coochie delightful, I just don't see it. I know for a fact that there are many, many Latinos who are better chefs/cooks, have less controversial personalities & would be a much better addition to the Food Network than Ingrid. Everytime she irritatingly snaps her fingers at me I & change the channel! I really want a good Latin show on the Food Network because they need one. Ingrid Hoffman is not the latin cook for me & many others.

I made this tonight and my fussy eight year old ate a whole bowl full. I am a new fan of Ingrid's show. This rice reminds me of my mother's. Thanks so much.

The rice came out great. I threw in a few left over roasted garlic cloves along with the peppers and then picked them out after it was done

I didn't see Ingrid make this. I made it however. It may not seem like a "recipe" to most. But for those whose rice doesn't always come out right(like myself, it was helpful. I followed it exactly. The rice wasn't sticky, but it wasn't loose either. I don't know how hers looked, but it had a nice flavor anyway.

This was a very interesting show. I like adding the green pepper tops it put a little twist to rice instead of making plain white rice out of a box like some people do. And for those that feel it was a waste of time to watch, if you know so much about cooking why watch foodnetwork? Thank you foodnetwork for this creative cook!!

Why is there absolutely no mention of the bell pepper in the on-line recipe? If it makes all the difference, and is demonstrated on the show, then why omit it? Anyone going strictly by the on-line recipe would not get the same result, nor have any idea what the reviewers are talking about.

I haven't tried this recipe as yet, but learned a couple of new things just by watching. Putting the pepper tops in the rice has to add lots of flavor. Bah, humbug to those that do not appreciate the differences of all cooks. We can all learn something new. I am anxious to give this entire recipe a try, and I will add her tips to my rice cooking! She is delightful to watch. Thanks, Food Network. Betty from Bloomington

You can make rice in your sleep. Why does they woman presume no one can make rice?
When are they getting rid of her? There are so many more worthy cooks in the world that it strikes me; maybe she knows somebody or something because she is not a cook.
