This was my first attempt with Mango Salsa and I can't get enough of it. Went great with the salmon and loved the barbecue sauce. I ate the left over salsa as salad later. I used canned mango and it was great. Sometimes the mango we get isn't very tasty. I chilled the salsa and let it sit for a few hours before serving. Should have left it at room temp. Think it goes better. Probably how I should have done it to start with.

It took a while to get all the ingredients for this recipe together, but after seeing the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was absolutely delicious, definitely can stand as a meal on its own with the salsa. A couple of tips, though: add some salt to the barbecue sauce and go easy on the apple cider vinegar, as it gives off a very strong smell. Great otherwise - everyone at the table loved it.

My wife and I made this on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best meals we've ever cooked. It was made even better by using wild Alaskan sockeye salmon. The guava sauce was incredible, and we intend to use it for other things as well. This recipe has joined our permanent collection.

I love Ingrid's salmon with Mango Veggie Salsa. I usually make it without the Guava BBQ. It is so easy, so flavorful and so impressive! My family and friends love it!!

Okay, so salmon isn?t exactly what my family thinks is a great dinner. Needless to say, it took quite a bit of convincing to get everyone to agree that we needed to try another fish recipe (they didn?t really like the last tuna attempt?. However, this time was different.

My wife said that it was one of the best dinners she had had in months ?and I have to agree. The barbeque sauce was outrageous! Combined with the salsa (which can easily stand alone with other dishes, this salmon dish is high on our list of repeats! This is a great dish!

I didn't like the guava in the bbq sauce & it was too sweet. There was too much mango in the salsa. Maybe the salsa would have been better with only one mango but I'm rating the recipe as written.

I couldn't find guava paste so used concentrated guava juice, it was a bit sweet but delicioso none the less. I have since found where to find the guava paste. The guava salmon with a bite of the mango salsa was a wonderful taste of flavors. This is one of my favorite recipes and I will make it again and again.
