As described...extremely easy to make. Biggest issue is locating a retail fish market that sells the type of needed firm fish. The flavors are so clean and genuine. Preschoolers to Senior citizens...the food disappeared as soon as I put it on the table. Wonderful!

I made this for my family today and they absolutely loved it. It was very easy to put together and I had all the ingredients except the fresh fish. This is a keeper and I will definetly share with friends. Thanks Ingrid.

My husband made this exactly as written and OH MY....I can't get enough of this! The coating on the fish was perfect...coated the fish without overpowering the flavor of the marinade! I can't believe how many layers of flavor these tacos deliver!!!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT understand how anyone can give this anything but 5 stars!!!! This is GOOD EATS!

The tacos were so delicious! I love the smoky flavor of the chipotle tartar sauce...could be used in other dishes easily. I made these in the deep fryer and they turned out with a flavorful crispy coating. I've made this dish a few times with tilapia, catfish, and tonight cod as the recipe calls for. It's great every time! Definitely a keeper.

While I am not a fan of the fish taco, my husband loves them! So after watching this episode I decided I'd give this a try. I am SO glad I did! This recipe is amazing! As for the breading, mine turned out very crispy, without being overcooked. Maybe the trick is to make sure the oil is hot enough to give it that desired "crispiness". I used Tilapia and it was so tasty! The citrus, avocado and cilantro blend was so delicious! This has become an every-weekend meal in our home! Thanks Ingrid for a great recipe that changed my opinion of a meal I never liked before!

The Chipotle Tartar Sauce was fantastic! I will keep the recipe and definitely make it again! On the other hand the breading around the fish (if you can call it that was not so good. The fish, after being marinated, was simply rolled in plain flour without egg or anything else at all didn't produce any crispiness or "breading" at all. I made the fish exactly as written but the final product produced no real breading factor. Certainly NOT as the picture shows. I'm thinking that maybe the written recipe is lacking egg or something. The fish pieces in the picture are NOT a product of fish only being "tossed in flower." Again, I made it exactly as written and not with the same results as in the photo. Instead, the fish in the photo looks more like flour, egg then flour again. I would hightly recommend making this recipe because it really is a spectacular combination of flavors but if you want the crispy fish as in the photo try a different breading method or add egg.

This was one of the best meals ever! The way Ingrid infuses the citrus throughout the entire recipe is so refreshing. The chipotle tarter sauce makes the entire dish! I've even started using it in other meals like veggie wraps! I highly recommend this recipe for anyone looking for something different and deliciouso!
