Ingredients
- 6 to 8 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup mixed lemon and lime juice
- Rum, optional
- 1/2 gallon water, or to taste
- Lemon and lime slices
- Sweetened shredded coconut
Directions
Muddle the mint leaves with a pestle in the bottom of a large pitcher. Add sugar, lemon and lime juice, and rum, to taste. Cover with water and refrigerate until cold. When ready to serve pour over ice, slices of lemon and lime, and coconut flakes. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Of course you must use common sense to do any recipe, but this one was not good at all. The ingredients did not come together. I see why Ingrid Hoffmann named her recipe Crazy Coconut because it's plain crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The video and recipe are not consistent. In the video Ingrid used coconut water and coconut milk. Neither mentioned in recipe. Also, recipe lists Rum (how much? and cooconut flakes. Ingrid didn't mention or use either in video/episode. Food Network please correct.

The recipe that is listed has the wrong proportion of sugar for the amount of citrus juice used. Make a regular lemonade recipe and add 1/3-1/2 can of coconut milk to it and it rocks. The flavor idea is a great one, the recipe is flawed. A+ Idea!!
I'm surprised that the people who made this recipe couldn't figure out that if their lemonade that was too sour it needed more sugar.
