If you don't LOVE LOVE LOVE Lemon flavor, don't make this dish. I added medium diced potatoes to the caramelizing onions so that I could round out the meal. It was great!! Next time though I will add a tsp of brown sugar to my caramelized onions to help cut a bit of the lemon sour. I will make it again. Couldn't find that silly chile, so I just used diced green chile as suggested. Other users: please use your myspace page to trash hosts; this website is for recipe feedback. My boobs and necklaces dangle all up in my food and it still tastes great.

This recipe is simplicity itself, and yields a chicken that is as moist and flavorful as it can be. I was a little afraid that the dish might be overpowered by so much lemon juice, but it isn't at all. The onions cook down into a sauce that really flavors the chicken and keeps it moist. I'll certainly be preparing this recipe again!

I thought this recipe was great. It's important to remember to not cook the chicken for more than 10minutes after you add the lemon juice or it will taste bitter. Ingrid told us that when she made this on her show.

I prefer to use lemon instead of lime and i also add a bit of grated lemon peel, slice spanish olives and chopped cilantro the last five mins of cooking. This dish is the bomb! Go Ms Ingrid!

I gave this recipe only 4 stars, I'm used to 30 minute meals, this was a tiny bit longer, yet still under an hour. The flavor was EXCELLENT! My husband and I cleaned our plates in no time. And we had leftovers, leaving us looking forward to lunch the next day! Can't wait to try another Ingrid recipe!

I made this dish last night with rice and it was wonderful! My husband loved it too! I used 3 big lemons and that was plenty. I had trouble finding the Peruvian chile or aji amarillo paste so I used the diced green chiles (it's in the international asle. I can't say enough good things about this recipe. This is the 3rd recipe I've tried by Ingrid and everything has been delicious. I don't understand why there are so many negative comments on these message boards.

The oil and overpowering lemon were the least of the problems for this disappointing recipe. I haven't ever seen the show; I was just looking for a new chicken recipe.

I reduced the oil to just coat the pan, only used one large onion and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. The chicken was bland, way too bitter and what I call "chickeny." I didn't eat more after a couple of bites of this. Thank God I had the Mexican rice too, otherwise I would have starved tonight. Two thumbs down. This shouldn't even be published anywhere.

If you want lemon and chicken, try Ina's recipe for grilled lemon chicken skewers with satay dip. It's outstanding.

Only Ingrid's family, friends and employees could rate this 5, 4,3 or 2 stars. Don't waste your time, make limeade isntead and add some grease to it, oh yum!
