Cooking this limon chicken was so easy and very tasteful. My husband said it was the best chicken I've cooked so far. Great recipe!! I loved it....

Ok...the title just sounds so darn good I had to try it again. I rated it GOOD the first time because it was the best of all I've made by Ingrid. But, after taking all the advice I saw in reviews to help the dish taste better, it's just not that good.

If you like SWEET chicken with HEAT - this is the dish. I prefer savory, with a hint of sweet and heat.

I ended up feeding the chicken to my dogs - they really enjoyed it. The onions went to the compost pile.

Waiting to see the show again - and try todays receipe tonight. It may be time to remove the show from my TIVO. Shame because I'd like to include some food from the latino culture in my very dymanic repertoire!

But the recipe is written poorly. The chicken was supposed to be seasoned prior to frying which is not mentioned, and as many have stated there was WAY too much oil. I sliced my onions, didn't chop them and used chopped jalepenos. It tasted great, and I'll make it again, but with modifications.

The lemons were wAY overpowering. Way too lemony! I think it may be ok with at least half the amount of lemons. I also used less oil, just coated the pan and mine wasnt overly oiley.

I dont like a recipe that I have to tweak, and add stuff to it, to make it taste decent.

This is gross! Greasy, too many onions, lemon juice. I live in Miami and have many latin markets, and all I could find was yellow paste, not the whole peppers. How is that simple whn even in Miami we don't have the ingredients. Her show needs to go, sorry. Stick with telemundo.

WAre you people paid to post your ratings? I am not and I can guarantee this recipe is too oily too lemony, too bad. Make it for someone you want to get rif of : Otherwise stay away from Ingrid's crazy creations/messes. She just adds whatever stuff into a bowl and call it Latino cooking.... don't we already have a show like that on FN? or two? Stop calling food babies please! it's not cute. Next week recipe: A lychee salad with mustard, goat cheese, shrimp, gelatin, cashews, bacon bits, granola and the secret ingredient cool whip!!! oh let's don't forget cilantro and limon and 3/4 cups of vegetable oil! yum!!

Disgrace to food, to lemon, to latin food!!! Does she really think she can cook? Latin food is not saying delicioso all the time, or by named the dishes is spanish, is more than that.

The chicken itself turned out very nicely....I used only a half cup of the lemon juice as others have suggested and there was plenty of lemon flavor. Definitely use less oil....I only used enough oil to coat the pan to "sear" the chicken, and the end result was still very greasy. The onions soaked up a lot of the lemon juice and were not good at all as a result. The onions seem to serve only to add flavor to the chicken--it's a waste to use as many as she calls for....try with one or two at most.
