After seeing this on Food Network I was so excited to try this drink. I followed the recipe exactly and was very disappointed. The pineapple was overpowering. I tried it without the pineapple as well and all you could taste was the rum. I have been looking for years for a good at home mojito recipe, and I am still looking.

I love pineapple juice but to me this drink didn't have the right balance of flavor....I'd prefer straight pineapple juice.
