I don't understand why there are bad reviews. This recipe is a simple yet smooth and creamy tasting dip. I think it taste great on potato chips or yuca frita. Its smooth and yet has a tang from the lemon and I just think its great tasting. Gracias Ingrid!

So I saw the show and this dip looked interesting and different. I decided to come on here to see the reviews and there is a lot of negative feedback so I thought forget this one. Then today I felt like some potato chips and dip and had all the stuff to make it. I figured why not, and surprisingly I liked it. Its an aquired taste but I liked it. If you enjoy a lemony taste with a lil kick you will like it. Give it a try you never know.

I love this dip and have made it several times. It's a nice change from the usual onion or dill dips. I don't understand the negative reviews. Sure, the recipe is simple, but it was on an episode about quick and easy comfort foods. I use lots of black pepper to offset the sourness of the lemon and Worcestershire. On the show she served this with potato chips sprinkled with cilantro. When I tried this, the cilantro slid right off the chips when I picked them up. It works best to just mix chopped cilantro into the dip. It adds a nice flavor and some much-needed color.

i really like Simple Delicioso but this recipe has no business being on the Food Network. You'd be better off dipping your chips on mayo alone.

I think this was pretty good. You can get a little creative and spice it up some more. It seems like Stacy have a bad review for all of Ingrids shows. If you don't like her why continue watching the show? Just a though!

This recipe is not worth a TV show. Send the chica back to Colombia to learn how to cook. Gross !

I had some plain potatoe chips and remembered seeing this made on Saturday so I tried it out tonight. It was ok - no big deal. Honestly, I think I made this recipe up while I was a Freshman in college on my own though.

I'm just wondering how this recipe can qualify for a Food Network Show. I've been watching the network for years and have learned how to cook by watching it. The recipe's here don't remotely come close to say, Nigela Lawson's - She also claims to be a fun-loving cook and not a chef. Different league all together from our local host here.

Shockingly, I live in Miami but don't eat Latino food but once a year. I KNOW there has to be more impressive LatinO receipes than we've seen here. We need more substance in these episodes or please move her show to the late afternoons instead of primetime Saturday AM while I'm having my coffee and learning.

This had a very odd flavor. These ingredients don't mix well. I have had some good luck with a couple of Ingrid's recipes. But most aren't worth trying. Where is the Kethcup and Cilantro?????
