I thought this was wonderful. Had great flavor all around...I love watching the show, I think Ingrid is a delight. For those who care to leave bad reviews about the show I have to say just don't watch it. For those who want to criticize the cooking perhaps you should do a little research and you would find that she owned one of the top rated restaurants in Miami. Stop criticizing what you know nothing about.

I never write a review on any recipe that I try but I had to on this one!!! My husband who is a picky eater absolutely loved the soup. My whole family tried it and loved it. Another person wrote that it was very greasy so I was very careful to remove all the foam and fat that rose to the top. It wasn't greasy at all after I was done, but it was a very crucial time that you had to babysit. We have so much left over that we are eating it again tomorrow. It is very hearty and I served it with rice and avocado. Just talking about it makes my mouth water. I am making the arroz con leche as we speak! Try it, I'm sure you'll love it!

This looked like it had promise but was awful. What a confusion of flavors, yuck!

Little too heavy on the cilantro. Even removing foam, too much grease. We took a couple of bites and threw it away.

I have always loved my Colombian heritage and food, but this sancocho made my mouth water so much that I am using the exact recipe to make my lunch today!!!! My house smells so good, and I cannot wait to eat! Hope it tastes as good as Ingrid and her MOM made it look on television....maybe I'll have room left for a little bit of arroz con leche! :- Yum, yum, yum!!!!!!!!
