Great recipe. I halved everything since there are just two of us. My husband said be sure to save the recipe so we can make it again. It does take some time to prepare everything, but it is well worth it. We were unsure about the grilled mango, so I kept some out. We both agreed that the grilled was far better. It wasn't the most flavorful mango to begin with, but the marinade and grilling made up for it. My husband grilled the corn and the shrimp at the same time. It worked out well. We had everything else ready--just added the corn to the salsa and assembled everything after grilling.

I made this for Mother's Day, and while it took some preparing, it turned our fabulous! I made the salsa the day before, and I left out the avocado and added it right before I served it. This gave the flavors time to blend. I baked home-made pita chips to eat it with. I also put the shrimp over pasta instead of salad... a great choice for my audience! WILL DEFINITELY MAKE AGAIN!

I love this recipe! The roasted corn and avocado salsa is to die for! I make it all the time now and my friends and family can't get enough. The shrimp is also great!

great avacado salad-I've been making a similar salad for years with a few changes: added cumin, replaced pepper with tomato and chili rather than jalapeno. I think I got the recipe from a Moosewood cookbook. Both are so yummy you'll eat them all the time.

Overall, this is a great recipe. The corn/avocado salsa is the star and the grilled mangos are brilliant. The marinade is fantastic on the shrimp and mangos but I didn't care for it as a dressing for the salad.
I will definitely make this again, but I believe I will leave out the salad (it really isn't needed or I will change the dressing somehow. I also would recommend roasting the red pepper in the salsa...it really kicked up the flavor.

I served this dish at my grandaughters grad party and my family all loved it. it was very tasty and also a very attractive display. The roasted corn and avacado also was a big hit. This has become one of my favorite dishes to serve to special people.
Thank You!

I made this recipe this past weekend for my family, It was a definite winner and now part of my grilling menu! The marinade/dressing is to die for and goes so well with the shrimp and mangos. The salad balances all the flavors. It is a great dish if you are watching your weight as well! Just writing about it makes me want to go to the backyard and fire the grill right this second!!!!
