Awesome fries, even better guac dip! My husband has requested this side dish as a regular. Followed recipe exactly.

These fries are really good! My husband likes spicy food, but I tend to shy away from it. The fries have a little bit of a bite, but it's flavorful. But - the SUPERSTAR of this recipe is the dip. It is SO good. My husband said he wants to put it on everything from now on. He just made his lunch for tomorrow and put the leftover dip on his sandwich. It really is delicious. By the way, I halved the recipe and made the fries in the toaster oven - and we didn't have any trouble with them burning.

Loved them and the dip...changed up the dip...added greek yogart in lieu of mayo, no pepper (cause I didn't have one on hand and switched the lime for lemon juice...I will never eat a regular fry again...but I did burn the first batch too...second batch I baked them at 400 for 15 then put them under the boiler to try to crisp up the tops without burning the bottoms, still were not crisp....;(

Great - but makes a lot of avocado dip! Could easily cut it in half...

Ok, I made these last night and they tasted okay. I wasn't wowed by the flavors. I followed others suggestions to lower the oven temperature and the seasonings still burned on the fries. Also, the avocado dip was real lime-y. It didn't really do anything for me. I'll try to change some things in the future and make these again.

A easy and tasty recipe. I kept the oven temp at 425 as another reader suggested and it kept the burnt fries to a minimum. The avocado dip was delish, except too much mayo. I used 2 avocados, same amount cream cheese and cut down the mayo to a helping tablespoon and even felt that was too much. I added more jalapeño to it to give it more of a kick. The avocado dip can be used for a side for many other dishes as well.

I just made these fries today. The seasoning is delicious!
The downside: they burnt. I will try my oven on lower setting at 425 degrees instead. I think the 450 degrees may be too intense for any sweet potato. I will definitely make these again. I just have to tool around with them.

I cut these with a crinkle cutter and turned them into sweet potato rounds for my toddlers. They loved them! For a snack, I drizzled a little bit of honey (honey is filled with antioxidants over the fries. Sweet + salty = YUMMY! Thanks Ingrid!

These were the best fries, but the dip threw it over the top!!! In the last stage of cooking, watch them very carefully. AWESOME!!
