Turned out way too buttery and greasy. And it's not sweet enough to be a satisfying dessert.

This has become one of our favorite recipes. We make it all the time, but really like bringing it to parties. Most people thinks it take a lot of work, but it is very easy to make, doesn't really take much time and tastes fantastic.

I couldn't believe that something so professional looking could come out of my oven. I highly recommend DuFour brand puff pastry because it's made with butter and tastes so much better than the others. Also, I used two full sheets of puff pastry and all of the almond cream to make a bigger version at 10 inches (for maximum "puff" and circumference. Just delicious and so beautiful to look at.

I made this recipe for a dinner party and it was a big hit. It was surprisingly easy to make and it was not only very tasty but pretty as well.
