OMG those are so good! My whole family loved them and the sauce, however I didn't have sweet chili sauce but I did have the hot so I used it and made up the difference with catsup and I put a little dill relish in it .......I didn't have self-rising flour or corn meal..but to make your own.....FOR each CUP of FLOUR AND CORN MEAL add 1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. and the other day I saw you making okra fritters, next time I am going to put chopped okra in half of the mix by just dividing mix..........and we can have two flavors....I bet it will be good.............thanks for recipe...I'll look no more, these are perfect!

I have to say these were so good ,so moist, great texture, loved the corn. Next time I will double the recipe! I will be making these again and again. In my opinion the sauce was great we loved it but these hushpuppies can stand on their own with out it!!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH! These hushpuppies are delicious. Very easy to make. The chili sauce is a must. It was difficult to eat just a couple...so I didn't! I actually lost count after 6! I served them with pinto beans & ham. I probably shouldn't have them for breakfast...should I? I think I may serve these as an appetizer at my next get together.

These are Amazing.. must serve with Paula's chili sauce.Only wish I had a deep fryer outside the house because these really stick up the kitchen but have an awesome taste. Have made them twice and a big hit both times.

These puppies are so daggone GOOD, they'll make you wanna SLAP THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU!!!!! No joke!!! The BEST daggone hushpuppies I ever, EVER ate!!!! Long John Silvers, MOVE OVER ---- there's a new puppy in town now ----- smile-----, and the taste of it, ain't no joke. It was nice & crispy on the outside, yet fluffy & moist on the inside. And it puffed up so nicely!!! My first attempt, and I got it! My boys love them!!! THANKS Paula & Trisha, I finally learned how to make some daggone good hushpuppies.
