Excellent bars. I have made them several times and did make these small changes after the first time ... Larger glass pan size 8x10 and a lowered temperature to 325. So easy to make and have always had compliments! Thank you Jamie. Love your program and seeing your beautiful family!

Cooking time issues seem to be a concern across the board here. I took mine out at 40 minutes because they looked like they were burning. The toothpick came out clean. But they were still underdone but turned very dark brown. They tasted good but the texture was not as expected. Maybe a lower temperature coupled with a longer cooking time. Not sure if I'd make them again. Two TABLESPOONS of vanilla is excessive too.. it was very overpowering.

These were very good...I thought they would be really rich and they were not, which is a good thing. I baked mine for 60 mins and they were still a little raw. Of course I still had to eat them..:-

These were so easy to make and so delicious. I didn't have toffee chips so I used butterscotch chips instead and they were really good. I only baked them 40 minutes & it was a little too long. Next time I'll cut it back another five minutes. I noticed others had to bake longer. Maybe it's the area you live in or the pan. I would suggest starting with the lower time & figuring out what is best for your area. You don't want to over bake them. They really are good!

These are wonderful. They taste almost like a chewy peacn pie in a bar form. My adult son is my worst critic and he loved these as did my husband. I will definately make these again. They are very rich so keep that in mind when cutting a piece. I was not expecting them to be that rich but then again if I had been thinking with all the sugar and butter they couldn't be anything but rich.
