Yummy! I made a couple of changes...I added a bit of vanilla extract and I substituted evaporated milk since I don't buy whole milk. Evaporated milk always makes things creamier. It also comes in skim to save fat and calories. I'll be making this again!

I did this recipe, and added a pintch of cinnamon at serving with the fruits, perfect combination.

My husband is a big oatmeal eater and this is SO much better than the way I was making it for him before. So creamy and I love the addition of the strawberries instead of always using blueberries. Super delicious!

This oatmeal tastes great! It is really creamy, yet because you toast the oats, it has a nutty taste. Mixed with the fruit it is a great way to start the day. I make this on the weekend and put it in the refrigerator for me and my daughter during the week. We warm it in the microwave, and it tastes like you just made it! Great recipe.

SUPER - SUPER - SUPER GOOD!!!! If you are an oatmeal lover, this is for you. I get my regular and steel cut directly from Dublin, so I am a lover. I just cannot believe how delicious this is. I did not add the banana or berries since I tend to be a purist and wanted that pure oaty taste. Takes a little time, but WELL worth the effort! Love Jamey's show, his direct no-nonsense delivery and easy going attitude. He really inspires. Also love that kitchen! His show is being DVR'd every Saturday in this house!

Awesome! We also added chopped walnuts, apples and a few drops of syrup when it was time to serve. Everyone asked for more.

WOW, this is such a great recipe for breakfast. We've made it four times already!! It's a real stick to your ribs kinda meal. We add different fruit and sometimes honey every time we make it. Love your new show and hope that it will be on for years and years to come.

I liked the ease of making this recipe as I did it all in a nonstick skillet. Toasting the oatmeal first really added great flavor. Nice balance of sweet with the brown sugar, milk and fruit.

To think all my life I have been eating the wrong oats! Only thing I did different was I used peaches instead of strawberries. Love his new show!
