Not the first time I've made Carbonara, but it's the first time I got it right. Jamie's instructions are always so simple and it they just work beautifully. Opens new doors.

    Thanks,

Very easy and quick to make and boy it tastes great! You can use whole milk instead of the cream and it tastes just as good but lighter on the calories for those who are waist conscious.

I make this at least once a week! I work long days and work part time @ night so most evenings I don't get home until 8p. This recipe is so quick so easy and so comforting after a long day. I make it for one by adding only 1 egg yolk, just a splash of cream and about 1 oz. of goat cheese, wisk it together, saute a little shallot, diced zuchinni, fresh thyme (I skip the bacon only because I'm not a big bacon fan, but I'm sure that's great in here!, toss it all together with a single portion of good penne and voila! Seriously.. quick, easy and so good.

Wasn't a big fan I before watched this show. Great recipe and makes good use of those summer squash that get boring when you have fixed them every other way. Highly recommend

This was our first Carbonara. The sauce was very rich and tasty. Jamie Oliver makes it rather simple to understand and complete. Everything is good with bacon.

I can't believe this hasn't been rated yet. I have made this recipe 4 times this summer for various people and it has be a hit each time. My kids love it! This is also the first recipe of Jamie Oliver's that I have tried, but definitely won't be the last.

We have a vegetable garden and every year we plant zucchini and yellow squash. Every year I make the same old standby dishes but we have such a bountiful harvest of squash each year I am always on the hunt for new ways to use it. Needless to say.. I've tried a lot of zucchini recipes but this one is absolutely the best I have ever tried!!! It's also ready in a hurry which is always a plus! This one will definitely be a standby. Thanks Jaime!!

I made this recipe wanting to use up zucchini from the garden. Not only was it really yummy, but it was also very quick and easy! I used dried thyme instead of fresh, as that's all I had, and bacon instead of Pancetta. It was fabulous! Thanks Jamie!!
