This went very well with a spicy curry dish that I made, the sweetness nicely offset the spiciness. I used a mango juice found at Wegman's supermarket.

Loved this recipe. I had vanilla yogurt on hand added 1 packet of Splenda and 1 tbsp of honey. Will def make this a regular breakfast drink or a dessert treat.

I made it with frozen strawberries instead of mango, add a little less sugar than the recipe, and add a tea spoon of rose water. Just wonderful!!!

This was my first time shopping for mango and I learned that they need to be yellow rather than green. Even with the green mangoes, it was still good. My fiance just put extra sugar in it.

I have never heard of "canned mango." In fact, the thought of it sounds terrible!
Made this recipe today with fresh mango and added a bit of vanilla(not typical, but who cares and a few ice cubes. It was delicious.
Mango is on sale this week - 4 for a DOLLAR! I'm going to stock up! Freeze the mango in individual sized baggies so we can have lassis all year long! Yum, yum!

This recipe gives the authentic taste of the mango lassi served in Indian Restraunts. However, I play around with the amount of yogurt, milk and mango pulp for my taste. I like to double the mango pulp amount and add a little more sugar. Tastes best when served chilled with a scoop of vanilla or mango ice cream on top! Yummm !!! :
