This was so much fun to make; not only do you get to play with your food, you're supposed to! The dough was just perfect; easy to roll out, and baked beautifully. The lemon zest adds a level of freshness to the dough, but the shortbread texture is the real winner. Raves from all who partook.

I am a dedicated Foodnetwork viewer and I have downloaded and bought several of the chefs cookbooks. Jaime's show is a waste of time. Put someone in his spot that actually cooks with ingredients a normal person can get in the store. Most people don't have gardens they can pull their ingredients out of. I won't buy his cookbook and when his show is on I change the channel.

I taped the show, I watched, listened and wrote down everything. Then I made the steak & guiness & cheese pie and it was fantastic. Good show Jamie.

There is nothing to review...recipe was not shown. Very disappointed in the philosophy of this show.

I found the missing recipe for Beef & Guinness Pie on Epicurious after about 2 minutes of searching:

I agree with "Dirty Tricks". The two recipes in which I was interested on his April 12th show were not printed. Even if I tried to write the recipe as I watched, it's too difficult between his accent, speech impediment, British slang and his constant fall-back to the metric system. In addition, you'd spend your time writing instead of observing his techniques.

Get rid of him. I'm sure you're paying way too much for him. The people who like him should go out and buy his book. That's the purpose of this tv show anyway. I won't be tuning in again.

Granted the recipes are not posted immediately, but I have printed several of his recipes. In particular the one for the spicy pork shoulder with peppers, it was unbelievable. If you don't check back for the recipes, it's your own fault. Jamie is one of the best chefs on the food network. I can't wait for Saturday to see him. It seems that people on this site who supposedly "review" only care to criticize. Lighten up.

Our agreement with the producers of "Jamie at Home" only permit us to make 2 recipes per episode available online. Food Network regrets the inconvenience to our viewers and foodnetwork.com users" Hey Food Network! How about taking Jamie off and putting someone on who can share recipes with us? Many of us believe that is the point of FN. This show is a waste of space!!

I am really rating the chef as I have not tried this particular recipe. What are these people talking about? When the show airs, you can look online and find the recipe. If you wait, then you have to search all over for it. It IS his recipe after all. He has a right to copyright it. You CAN find it if you want to so what is the fuss??? Others do the same thing. Ina's recipes are often listed for a period of time only. They ARE their property. Lighten up people.
