Finally - someone who can really cook. Without cans of stuff and premade, salty, sugary, unhealthy ingredients. And you do not post the recipes? Come on people - Jamie Oliver is a well respected chef and intriguing to watch. Passionate about food. I expect that is why you put him on in the first place. Feeling like this is a beautifully made commercial to buy the book (which I will probably anyway. What is up with you folks? I LOVE the show, am disappointed with the lack of recipes.....

I love this new show by Jamie but will not watch in future if all the recipes are not posted. That's why we watch FoodTV...so we can try the recipes! I wanted to make both the beef and Guinness pie as well as the quiche.

I found this info off Jamies site in the recipe swap section. Looks like a lot of people want to make this one:
I typed it up for anyone who wants it. I noticed that Jamie used guinness Extra Stout which i think is important. He also didn't say how much beef to use. I'm thinking of making this tonight but using venison.
3 purple onions peeled and sliced
1 sprig rosemary
olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
4 Tbs butter
2 sticks celery finely sliced
2 carrots
portabella mushrooms sliced, broken up
inch dice beef
salt
pepper
pint of guinness extra stout
1 Tbs flour
puff pastry
white cheddar
1 egg
Caramelize onions in olive oil.
Add everything except cheese .
add water, close to cover meat.
350 oven for 2 hours
mix in cheddar to the filling, then add to the top before adding top.
brush sides with egg wash
score the lid, then egg wash
put in oven 350 for 40 min or until bubbling and golden

I watched Jaime's show, which I really enjoy. I'm so glad he's joined the Food Network group of talented chefs. I especially like that he's using organic ingredients and cooking like a real, rustic home cook would. I can't wait to make the beef Guinness & Cheese pie...but, where's the recipe? I will happily come back out here and rate it with a 5 star rating once I can have the information on how to make it. Until then, 1 star for a rising star.

Under the recipe title for "Old Fashioned Sweet Shortcrust Pasty" it says "Recipe excerpted" which means they want you to buy the book! At least the Barefoot Contessa posts all her recipes for a limited time. Even if you wrote everything down, the measurements he referenced were metric and a handful of ... Very disappointed!

Why would you have a show that you do not provide recipes for?? I really doubt that I will watch again when I know I cannot get the recipe. I was ready to make the savory dishes but you did not provide them.

I like the show....but where is the 'savory' part? I wanted to make the Beef & Guiness Pie and I can't find it anywhere.
