Easy and tasty... I read all the reviews and apply the recommendations like reducing the wine and cream, adding the seafood in order to avoid overcooking, added a pinch of red pepper flakes. This is a 5 stars...

I made this many years ago when I saw him make this recipe and it has been a great entertaining dish since. I mix it up with so many different types of seafood as I find whatever is fresh.

would pair well with a simple crisp non fat vinegar based spring salad. I added shallots and a pinch of crushed red pepper and used a mix of dry sherry and a good chard. excellent and a bit decadent.

I will rate this 5 stars, because I want people to use the recipe, but I needed to tweak some things... First I substituted dry sherry for the white wine... I prefer the taste, and is great with seafood.. Second there is no mention of reducing any of the liquid, which I had to do in order to thicken the sauce. First I reduced the sherry while boiling the shellfish, then reduced the cream later... which you really have to do, or its just too liquid-y.
I also added the seafood in an order, not just all at once, because they cook at different speeds. Scallops should go in towards the end, or they will be too rubbery...
You should let the pasta set and cool off before you serve it too, so it will all thicken together.
Anyway, delicious! Even though my suggestions almost make another recipe altogether...

I enjoy making this meal as it serves many and can have a variety of low cost seafood used for it. The saffron and wine make it more speacial than other ordinary pasta seafood meals

This was overall good, except I added red pepper flakes - it needed some spice!
