I served this with a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of cinammon ice cream and topped it with walnuts. Excellent!! A huge success at my friend's BBQ party. I will say that I had about a 1/4 leftover sugar and it was already pretty sweet. Perhaps decrease the spice and sugar mixture when you're making it.

I have never known how this is made. Now I know! Delicious with the carmelized nuts recipe. I don't like walnuts so I use cashews or almonds. Love her show, this is new cuisine for me. Can't find all her spices though, I substitute with regular cinnamon.
