This show isn't called Healthy Spice & Easy, Gwynne. Watch Ellie Krieger if you want nutritious recipes. Don't get me wrong...I love Ellie. I also think it's refreshing to see someone who thoroughly enjoys and is knowledgeable about the exotic, aromatic flavors of spices in food, and this gal does. It CRACKED ME UP to see her drink this shake right from the blender.....something we all would do if millions weren't watching; I think she was adorable to dive right in and savor the flavor of this most decadent drink!
Google a spice if you want to know its history. I say, leave her alone. She's innovative and passionate about her craft. And a hoot, to boot. I love her!

This milkshake is to die for, truly delicous. But her menu, fried donuts coated in sugar, grilled beef hamburgers, and fried sweet potatoes with brown sugar isn't very healthy. She doesn't look like she eats like this. I wish she'd give more history / information on the spices she uses. Mostly she mentions the taste of the spices and little else. Not real informative.
