Best Meatloaf recipe ever. I have made many meatloaf but this has perfect balance of flavors. I did substitute saltines with ritz crackers Served with the glaze it's delicious

Great Meatloaf!
I made this recipe yesterday for dinner with 3 modifications: I deleted the mustard, substituted Keebler Club crackers for the saltines and used 1 pound of ground pork in place of 8 oz of ground pork and 8 oz of ground veal.
It was absolutely Yummilicious!
This will be my meatloaf recipe in the future.
Next time, I'll also make more glaze to serve on top of the slices and as I eat, as well as enjoy with the leftovers.

I have always been told I have the best meatloaf and to never change it. The day I saw him make his I had to try it. I got the ingredients and did exactly as he instructed. I even made sure I didn't "cross contaminate people". Now it is the only meatloaf recipe I use in this house. After years of the same wonderful recipe handed down in my family for generations, Jeff Mauro converted my whole family. It's worth making and very easy. It doesn't have to go on a sandwich, but it certainly is moist enough to work on a sandwich or on a plate with mashed potatoes.

This recipe is wonderful - I'm really picky about meatloaf, but this ranks up there with my Mom's. I never thought I find something as good as hers. Thank you Jeff!

Made this for the fourth of July, few substitutions, 1/2 ground chuck, 1/2 pork, italian bread crumbs, the sauce was delicious! Using this receipt I made two smaller meatloafs, I love the ends!

LOVE this recipe. So easy to make and super delicious! My butcher ran out of ground veal, so I used 50/50 ground chuck/ground pork and it still came out really good. The sauce definitely added a lot of depth to the overall flavor of the sandwich.

Truly delicious! Made extra glaze as suggested from the other reviews! Glad I did family loved it. Thanks for an amazing meatloaf! Will be doing again.
