Fantastic! Sauce is atypical of most meatloaf sauces and the meatloaf taste is perfect for the sauce. Friends ate it until it was GONE! Have made these sandwiches twice in two weeks it will be three times when next week comes.

The meatloaf is a wow. The glaze is a great starting point, easy to adjust to your own taste. For me, that meant less sugar and several healthy squirts of the same hot sauce I used in the meatloaf. And please ignore Jeff's suggestion to use canned onions. Instead, make his own crispy onions, the recipe for which can be found with his roast beast master sandwich. Great combination of flavors. A very tasty bite, indeed.

great sandwich!. very easy to make. I did not have to change a thing and will not in the future! I find that I constantly have to change recipes. But, this one along with Jeff's other ones have been on point every time! I love that he tells you what bread to pair the meat or sandwich contents with. That takes all the guess work out. The recipe is a keeper!!

The tastiest most moist delicious meatloaf I have ever tasted. The sandwich was good, but as a meatloaf dinner with mashed cauliflower and some of the sauce drizzle over the meatloaf so yummy. Jeff you rock!

I couldn't find veal so used the hamburger & ground pork in a 2:1 ratio. Otherwise I followed the recipe EXACTLY, same for the glaze. I don't know if the change of meat made a difference but the mixture was VERY loose. The sauce was also too runny to coat the meat without just running off. But I was able to shape loaves instead of using loaf pans as usual, and instead of one coat of sauce I just basted three coats as it cooked. The meatloaf was SO different than what I am used to - I could only call it "fluffy". The taste of both meat and sauce were incredible! Even my meatloaf-hating daughter loved it! I've been eating it for three days now for lunches and it just gets better. I'll never make my old "brick" again :
