Just got done watching your new show and it was great. Finally, a great show about something that appeals to everyone, sandwiches. And one that has ingredients found in your kitchen instead of specialty store items. Congrats on your Network Star win. You were the best and you deserve it.

Not only does your food ROCK, but you have one of the most interersting shows on FOOD NETWORK. This is the show I have been waiting for!! Keep up the great work. I look forward to many years of the Sandwich King!

I had Chicago Italian beef sandwiches in graduate school. I have been looking for the recipe ever since. This is it! It is incredibly good. Great first show. I look forward to seeing what's next.

Sandwich is great, BUT WHY USE A BELL PEPPERS, SWEET ITALIAN PEPPER (CUBANELLE ITALIAN SWEET after all it is a Italian beef sandwich 5 stars with the Italian peppers 1 star with the bell peppers

OMG! I am originally from Chicago but living in Texas since 1978. It is really difficult to find a place to get Chicago beef. Well, now I can make my own. I waited for Jeff's show and was excited that this sandwich was the first. Absolutely wonderful. Jeff is the guy nextdoor with a pleasant personality. After this post, I am off to the store to get my roast for that great Chicago beef sandwich. Way to go Jeff :
