After making this recipe, it dawns upon me just what Jeff Mauro means by "every sandwich into a meal." This was exactly that: a meal. And it was delicious. The only critique is that the blue cheese gets a bit lost in the dressing; I'd add 1/4 cup. Still, even if there were no blue cheese in the dressing at all, it was outstanding. This is my first attempt at one of Mauro's recipes, and I'm convinced.

Great job, Jeff! I'm a Chicago guy who loves sandwiches and who's learning to become a better cook. Jeff is a great inspiration and I'm gonna be watching every week. (By the way, this is my wife's user id.
If I could give this 7 stars, I definitely would. We got a great 24 oz ribeye from the local butcher and it turned out amazing. The blue cheese dressing was simple and tasted really great (we used it on burgers the next day. The spinach came out perfect, too. In my opinion, you could get away with only making half the spinach and dressing (I ended up mixing some dressing with the remaining spinach and it was delicious. The steak was delicious, and the baguette (from Panera had the perfect texture. The sandwich ended up being off the charts, and I can't wait to have friends over and make this for them.

OMG, this was a home run.
My wife is not a beef eater.
We grilled a chicken breast for her with spinach, garlic chips and ranch dressing. It was off the charts. I grilled a bone in ribeye, with the spinach, garlic, and blue cheese dressing. I could eat this sandwich every day until I'm totally sick of it. One piece of advice--a 9 oz bag of spinach will make just about 2 good size sandwiches.

Genius and delicious. The spinach was such an incredible feature, I loved evverything about this sandwich. Thanks for turning what would have been a more formal'ish dinner with friends into a laid back, blast with sandwiches for dinner. Totally brilliant

awesome. i have to eat GF so I used a GF Udi's bagel grilled to crispy, the kids like their spinach raw so there were minor modifications (the beauty of a sandwich. In the end the plates were bare, the cutting board was bare ( :( and everyone was thrilled. plus dinner was almost silent. a sure sign everyone was so into the food. awesome sandwich. now on to the Greek sandwich!

What an amazing sandwich! It was hard to cut up a perfectly grilled ribeye, but we were not disappointed once we bit into the sandwich. We left out the buttermilk and blue cheese with the dressing and it was still great. Congratulations Sandwich King and keep it coming!

Wow! The flavor of the spinach with the blue cheese dressing lift the meat and bread higher than they could ever get by themselves. My 3 teenagers loved this! They were extremely sad when they realized all the spinach was gone! I had to use a less costly price of meat since I am feeding 5 people, 3 of which could eat a 20oz of rib eye on their own! But the meat was the only adjustment I made. Thanks so much for sharing this and keep them coming Sandwich King!
