to toks2angls: he demonstrated his giardiniera in his first episode "Italian beef." take the time to make some using his recipe or a variation (i like to use 2 tbs vinegar in mine... it is addictive and great on pasta or salad-- not just sandwiches.

Tasted great, but I was disappointed that he didn't demonstrate the recipe for his "homemade giardiniera." I think it would have really added great flavor to the sandwich, but I didn't see the recipe with the show recipes.

Jeff - you hit another HOME RUN with us on this recipe. I was scared to add the mushrooms and peas because I am not a mushroom lover (or liker and peas on a sandwich just doesn't sound appetizing to me....but I wanted to try the total package - so I did - and it was SO GOOD! My husband made homemade bread which made it even better. I made the potatoes - so easy and so tasty!! We will definitely make this one again!!!

Really tasty chicken dish! I am gluten free and my husband is low carb so sandwiches aren't really an option for us, but Jeff's recipes look so yummy that I usually just reverse them back into the original dish they came from and they are great! I made the pan fried chicken and the jus and the pea/mushroom mix and served it over rice. Very yummy quick weeknight supper!

Very easy to prepare. We pushed the Garlic envelope and went with 7 cloves. My dinner guests really liked the end result. Thanks Jeff!

I saw Jeff make this on the show today and then hurried to the store to get the ingredients. My husband and I had it for dinner and we both loved it!It is very, very filling! I will definitely make it again. My husband is having the leftovers tomorrow as a regular meal.

Made this for Dinner tonight and both my husband and I loved it. Thanks Jeff for an excellent change to our meals. Keep them coming and even a sandwich can be made "back" into a meal. :
