This is a great recipe! I was brought up eating this but never on a sandwich. I was so excited to share this dish with my kids and bring us all back to my childhood. We just finished dinner and it was great. Thank you.

I think Jeff is doing a great job - and when he said at the end of his show today that he was having a "pop" I was excited and thought he must be from Pittsburgh!!! FINALLY - someone calls it the right name!!! :

would have loved it if you showed us the opening video of that roasted chicken w/ potato etc. and then made a sandwich from that great looking dish.

Being a native Chicagoan, it is a thrill to see Jeff putting our favorite foods on the air with recipes! The Chicken Vesuvio recipe is the real deal! There is nothing like the flavor of all the Italian seasonings, lemon and white wine melded together into this most delicious dish. Thanks Jeff. Have been searching for the perfect Vesuvio sauce and just found it. And of course, the Chicago Polish! Great job Jeff. jrartist, Chicago
