Ingredients
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 to 1 cup whole milk
- One 8-ounce piece leftover chocolate cake
- 2 shots espresso or coffee liqueur, optional
Directions
Add the ice cream and milk into a blender and puree. Add in the cake and blend. Serve the shake with a spoon and a straw in a pint glass. If you want to spike it up, add some espresso or coffee liqueur for an adult version.

Great recipe. We don't usually have left over chocolate cake around the house so I used a Philadelphia staple- Chocolate Tasty Kakes.

I was very worried about adding the cake because I thought it would give it a weird texture, but it was nice and smooth. It tasted like liquid cake!
