My husband and I made this recipe last night and the hardest part was waiting for the relish to "marry up" flavors. Everything was just as we expected because we love gyro's and the flavor of this sandwich was spot on!! We followed the recipe exactlt, with the exeption of adding a little extra red wine. We love your show and we are anticipating making many more of your recipes.

These were great!!!! AND easy to make, my whole family loved them!!! I can't wait to try more of Jeff's recipes. I couldn't find Pita bread so I used fresh pizza dough, it was great! we grilled the pizza dough and they turned out great. Thanks Jeff, I am sooooo glad you won I was pulling for you from the start. I love your POV ! Keep the recipes coming.

So good, even my 11 year old daughter loved it. I couldn't find pocketless pita bread, so I used Naan, may have made it even better.

Easy to make and feeds a lot of people. It fed our family of three (big eaters and we have plenty of leftovers.

Great job, Jeff! I'm a Chicago guy who loves sandwiches and who's learning to become a better cook. Jeff is a great inspiration and I'm gonna be watching every week.

I want to try every sandwich Jeff showcases, but I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive when it came to the Greek Taco. I'm not a fan of cucumbers or Greek yogurt, but I trusted Jeff and gave it a shot. My whole family (including me was thrilled with the results. I started with the relish and learned how to chop all the vegetables by watching the show. The flavors blended together in a way that brought out the best flavors in each vegetable. Next I made the sauce, which used a lot of ingredients I don't particularly like. Nevertheless, all the flavors came together in a fantastic way. And the lamb came out perfect, too.
Overall, all the flavors blended together perfectly and the recipe was really easy to follow. I got rave reviews and I'm sure you will, too. I can't wait to make these again!

My husband and I made these greek tacos tonight and enjoyed every bite! The flavors were perfect together. I am not easily impressed by too many recipes but I am definitely adding this one to my recipe bank. Looking forward to enjoying the leftovers tomorrow.

Sandwich King!!! This was a hit in my household. The flavors were so great and I can't wait to have leftovers tomorrow night. It was so tasty and is a top 10 meal, hands down. Thank you Jeff and congrats!!! I must confess though, that we just bought pre-made Tzatziki. Sorry, was just looking for one short cut.

I tried this recipe and was not happy with it, I would like to add a fast note, for gyros you need to add marjoram and lemon juice.....as well, the meat did not have the flavor I love in true Greek food, the meat taste like ground beef and was way too plain for my taste buds, sorry Sandwich King....please revise your recipe to make the meat have more Gyro taste! Because...to me the recipe lacked in flavor.
