You hit a homerun with this one in my house! My son musy have said 27 time during dinner how good it was and I'm not sure how many times in the last week. I just know we have to make it again!

I just tried this recipe however I'm not a fan of lamb so I used one pound of beef and one pound of pork sausage. I would like to say this was fantastic I mean absolutely perfect. Thank you Jeff! I watched you on The Next Food Network Star and although Vince was my favorite you were my second. So as I said Thank You for the taco's they were delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sandwich rocks! I love lamb, and the Greek Taco idea was perfect! I also rooted for him from the get go. Way to go, Jeff

BOOM! This taco is absolutely amazing! Couldn't find pocket-less pitas but in the end it was so delicious it didn't really matter. Looking forward to more amazing sandwich ideas like this one from the Sandwich King!

After watching the competition (congrats I decided to try this recipe first. YUM! I don't like mint with lamb so I used fresh basil in my Tzatziki which I prefer but followed your recipe otherwise and loved it as did my husband. Thanks and good luck with your show. Erin D. CAgirl.

I made a vegetarian version of this using some homemade greek spiced seitan in place of the meat. The veggie relish was ok. The taziki was ok but I found I needed to doctor it up a bit with about a tbl of lemon juice, a tsp of agave and some fresh dill. I also felt that the flavor of the feta got lost in the tangy-ness of the yogurt so I added more crumbled feta to the top of the sandwich. Althought none of the individual recipes was astonishing, together the seitan, taziki, veggies and feta on the warmed flatbread was outstanding. A hearty and filling sandwich which my hubby raved about. A definite make again meal.

Sorry, Jeff. Your recipes may taste delicious, but there are too many ingredients to fool with, and too much time and effort to make your sandwiches. I won't be watching your program any more.

Great recipe, I used the tzatziki sauce and the relish and put it on cut up grilled chicken to make chicken gyro's. Great Job Jeff!!
