Literally just finished cooking and eating this dinner. It was AMAZING! Better than any gyro I have ever had -- and gyros are one of my favorite foods! It was so flavorful and yummy.

your show is great! My mouth was watering watching you assemble the greek tacos and I had to get to the market and grab the ingredients and try it at home. Your recipe does not disappoint! YUM! Garliky burps all night long :

Never having had lamb before, I was hesitant to try this recipe but my ten year old encouraged me to do so. I'm so glad! The lamb was savory and mild. The relish was fresh and crunchy. The sauce was creamy with just the right amount of flavor. We are brainstorming other "sandwich" options to enjoy this same combination. Thank you Jeff for your inspiration!

Wish I could give you even more stars, Jeff. Have all the ingredients to make the Greek taco tomorrow. Even my husband who eats but does not cook watches your show and is eagerly waiting for his Chicago feast! We will be there in a week and will keep my eye out for you in Elmwood Park when we are on the prowl for a great Italian beef and Chicago dog!

These Greek Tacos rocked! I grew up in Chicago too and miss the fabulous gyros! I had never used ground lamb before, but found some beautiful and fresh at Whole Foods (and only $5..99/lb. So easy to prepare and delicious! The cucumber/tomato/onion relish is a must--so fresh and delicious! Did not add the mint to the tzatziki, but didn't miss it! The flavor of the meat was perfect--and mimicked the authentic gyro to a "T". Jeff, you are the best--I love your show, you crack me up and your food is amazing yet easy enough to prepare for a busy family like mine-- and I now even have my husband hooked on your show, too! (Usually can only get him to watch Giada--go figure!!. Can't wait to see what you make next week!

Good thing I put a little aside for lunch tomorrow because it's all gone! I didn't have fresh mint so used dried. This recipe is definately a keeper, and couldn't have been easier to make.

Hubby and I made this for dinner. It was delicious!!! The market didn't have anymore mint, so that was the only thing missing in ours. But it was soooo good! We would definitely make it again.

We loved it. The eight year old couldn't get enough. After the bread was gone my daughter just mixed up the left overs and ate it. Chicago sandwich next and looking forward to more sandwiches. Wish wea would have had this all summer. Jeff fills a great niche for quick, tasty meals. kswanny

That was so much fun to make! I love the idea of this show so much and I was so excited to cook this recipe for my husband and children! Everyone loved it! The flavors were fantastic and I gave this recipe to my friend and she used ground turkey and told me it was really delicious. We are all thrilled for the Sandwich King and cannot wait for more recipes, I am a fan! Thanks Jeff!!!

Yummy dinner! Thanks Jeff. Called ahead to my supermarket and the ground lamb was waiting for me and the other ingredients were a snap. Cooking this was fun and eating this was better, delicious. Will definitely have again, like tomorrow for lunch. Jeff is certainly the next Star with recipes like this!
