I'm greek so I know how delicious gyros are and I have had traditional ones in Greece. I knew this wouldn't be the same but it was so DELICIOUS. I just made it and it might have been one of the best things I have tried. SO good. Meat was delicious, Relish was awesome. I'm greek so I made the tzatziki more traditional, but this dish is SO worth making. Thanks Jeff!

Love Jeff and Love the show! Episode 2 was fabulous.
I love Gyros - or Souvlakis as they used to be called in the 1970's. I'll try this recipe just because of Jeff.

We live in California, so we watched the show at 8:30 am. By 12:45 we were eating the Greek Taco. Great great dish. Easy to make and DELICIOUS. Definitely we will make it again and again and again.

I made gyros at home once before and between the difficulty of slicing the meat thin, the expense of a bunch of specialty ingredients, many of which were hard to find in my area, and the disappointing flavor results, it wasn't worth trying again.

This recipe sounds much more user-friendly and looks delicious! I'm very anxious to try it after my next payday. We have an office party coming up and I'm thinking of making gyros tarts, using the meat from this recipe as the filling and topping it with the tzatziki.

I've ALWAYS been a sandwich lover so I'm thrilled to have a show like this, geared to my interests. I love playing with different sandwich foundations, fillings, and toppings. Can't wait to see future episodes to get more inspiration!

This is a great make-at-home gyro. Having grown up in Chicago where gyro stands abound, and this is a really flavorful gyro. The fresh veggies are delicious and could be a stand-alone side on their own. The tzatziki sauce is incredible, and you get the gyro flavor out of the ground beef and some texture with the caramelized lamb. My wife even looked at me, eyes wide and said wow after the first bite. Kudos my man, and now onto the Italian Beef. If your recipe for the Beef brings me back to my childhood, you're my hero dude.

Are you kidding me?!!?? WoW!!!! Just picked up my fiance and one of my sons from the airport. I prepped everything except the meat and came home, done. In 15 min... Bam! My 7,9 and 12 year old children didn't stop. I should've made more. Jeff followed you from day one my brotha! You deserve this spot and a few more. This was so so easy - and so so GOOD! My boyfriend left work early when he found out what I was making, and it was worth his while! One thing I did do was drain out some of the drippings after cooking the lamb and before I sauteed the onions. It seemed there was just too much grease/fat in there. As I cooked the onions and added the garlic, oregano and tomato paste, I added some of the grease back in.
It also made an awesome midnight snack.
    Highly recommended!
