OMG!! This recipe was so tasty and easy to make. I will definitely be adding this one to my list of favorite recipes. Looking forward to making it again. Awesome recipe.

I watched this show this am and wanted to give it a try. My wife was a little hesitant saying ground lamb was expensive. 2lbs of lamb cost $14 but a gyro at a restaurant goes for $6 to 8 each. I have 4 kids. This served us all. Maybe my pitas were smaller than his or something but it made 10 with a little meat left over and I stuffed mine with meat. They all loved it. My 13 year old kept jumping up and saying this is one of the best things he has ever had. I have to keep the onions on the side because some of my kids hate them. So I added a little red bell pepper.
Be sure to heat the pitas with olive oil to make them soft.

We will add this to our Sunday football party list.

As I am typing this my wife keeps saying that was fantastic

The greek taco is awesome, the best I ever had. The way Jeff cook, explained and use ingredients as vegetables is great.

This was excellent! Tasted just like the real thing. The Tzatziki was fantastic. I only used 1# ground lamb and it was the perfect amount for 4 sandwiches. I also have leftover relish for lunch tomorrow. Congrats on your win, and great show today! Can't wait to see what's for dinner next Sunday!

Great Home-Made Improv version of a Classic Gyro!!! The relish is so simple yet really makes the dish. Usually I cannot make things I see on Food Network because of the cost of the ingredients...Fed everyone in the house on a Sunday Evening for under $25.00.

I have to agree and after watching the show, I think Jeff's comment to the Greek restaurant owner was spot on. Why would anyone want to buy and install one of those machines in their home. The way Jeff cooked the meat; in a home, was perfect. The sauce and vegetable add was also great, probably one of the best greek sandwiches I have had in a while. If you dont feel like spending a fortune at a restaurant, this sandwich will hit the spot. Great Job Jeff!

Always looking for an easy homemade "Gyro" replacement. This is IT! Sandwiches are the cliche quisine, but Jeff, MAN! YOU ROCKED IT!
