Talk about flavorful! This recipe is great, the pineapple relish is AMAZING! The only thing is that the pork turns out very very greasy. Next time I will not only drain the grease but also remove the fat cap after cooking, but before pulling my pork.

We just served this for a crowd of 30 people and it was an outstanding hit! The spice was perfectly balanced with the sweet of the pineapple and everything was perfect - rave reviews! I made it exactly as listed (minus the red cabbage on top since someone brought cole slaw to the party. Don't change a thing - this is definitely a keeper!

Excellent recipe! This was the best combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy with a hint of spicy kick. I used Scott conant's marscapone butter on the rolls before I grilled them and it was the perfect combination of buttery sweet crunch with the pillowy soft bread. Even leftovers were delish! I used leftover pineapple relish and cabbage on fish tacos and leftover pork for carnitas, mixed with more jalapeños, the cabbage for crunch, and a squeeze of lime on grilled corn tortillas. I also paired with a crunchy grilled corn and cilantro salad that could be used in or next to leftovers. Thanks!!!

Great Recipe Jeff! I served this for my son's graduation party this weekend for 100 guest! I kept getting asked for the recipe. Although I went away from the bread and sandwich and let my guests make mini tacos with it, pineapple relish and all! Oh So Delicious! Yummy!

PORK IS DELICIOUS. CHILI SAUCE MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. PINEAPPLE RELISH POISONS THE THE WHOLE THING! This is some of the best pulled pork I ever tasted, but the addition of the pineapple relish ruined the sandwich for me. First off WAY too much cilantro (and I like cilantro, secondly WAY too much pineapple. This recipe may be better if you cut with those two ingredients in half. Personally, I will make this again but just top it with the traditional pulled pork sandwich toppings i.e. coleslaw and pickles.

I made this in my crockpot, the meat by itself wasn't amazing but it was flavorful. However the magic happens once the entire sandwich is assembled. I put it on top of a toasted kaiser bun...it was fantastic. The sweetness with a hint of spice from the red pepper flakes and jalepeno with the freshness of the cilantro and red pepper is Perfect!

I am a big fan of this recipe, but I must admit that I made this on a Friday night and I needed it to be ready quickly after work. So I used pulled pork from Costco and added it to the sauce, ohhhhh it was very delicious. I loved the sauce and the pineapple salsa was also very good. I will have to make this dish from scratch once the hot days of summer hear in Texas are gone.

This is my first try on one of Jeff's recipes and it was awesome. The rub for the pork will be used again and again to explore new flavors and the chili sauce was so good. I put the leftover pork in the sauce and it made a very tasty second dinner. Thanks, Jeff. Awesome flavor combos!! I am looking forward to trying that rub on a pork loin with a horseradish sauce.
