I made this on Memorial Day with the new dutch oven I received for Mother's Day! These sandwiches were super yummy with tons of flavors going on. They are definitely spicy, maybe because my jalepeno was sort of large. The grilled pineapple salsa really makes the sandwich special.

Are you kidding me Big Dawg?!! This was an absolute knockout I served just yesterday to family for Memorial day party. It was actually the maiden voyage for my Food Network dutch oven my wife bought for me for Christmas. To make it kid friendly I took it down a notch and only added 1/2 of a finely chopped jalapeno and a quarter of the red onion. Everyone destroyed these sandwiches and it is a definite new favorite here. Next time I'm thinking of taking out the red cabbage and adding really thin white onions and pickles to change it up a bit.

This recipe came out looking exactly like it did on the show and tasted fantastic! Our guests really liked it too.

Our pineapple took longer to grill than the recipe indicated, but we had to use a grill pan on our stove because we do not have a grill. Definitely plan to make this over again (many times.

This is one of my top 10 recipes. I loved everything about it! Plus my house smelled amazing after roasting the pork. I will definitely make this recipe again. It was a huge hit.

Fabulous! I made it for Memorial Day/Granddaughter's b'day party and it was a huge hit. The pineapple salsa is to die for. It was all easy to make tho time consuming with all the chopping and mixing but good food doesn't come much easier. I made it all the day before so I wouldn't be stressed out trying to get it all together at the last minute and packed up for transport and it still tasted great. I also made the potato salad from the same episode and like it even better than my usual one .....but my husband still prefers my own. <g>

This pulled pork was incredible! The amount of crushed red pepper is just enough to give it a good kick but will not set your mouth on fire. The pineapple relish was also a good idea as a topper, it cools the burn from the red pepper. I enjoyed watching Jeff on Food Network Star, A+ Jeff!

I have never made bbq before! And this recipe was SO EASY! And SO GOOD! I did cheat a bit, I added a bit more brown sugar, and some ketchup to the sauce, because I like more "memphis" style bbq. But I compared the 2, and the flavor profile was almost identical! It was just a bit sweeter and thicker. I also am not an onion fan, so I created a pineapple slaw to put on top - Thanks Jeff for helping me make the best thing I ever made!! :-D

This is such an excellent recipe! I bought a 6 pound pork butt and made this menu for a bunch of older teens and they all loved it! Great party food!
