This is what I requested for my birthday dinner. It was perfect! It had all the flavors that I love, all in one sandwich.

I made this recipe to use up the last of my Easter ham.....it was delicious, I used 2 habaneros and that seemed to crank up the heat enough for my family: I really recommend this to anyone who is looking for something different to do with leftover ham.

I made the Monte Cristo and the Strawberry Jabanero Jam and both were delicious! I would add a little more jabanero next time. The jabanero flavor was very mild and didn't really come through. Great recipes!

Loved the sandwich and the jam. But my jam was a little thin. I will try adding more strawberries next time. I also made it with Swiss chesse and it was good. Great Sandwich!

I just made the Strawberry Habanero Jam and it is cooling now. When I tasted it, it seems very sweet but the heat of the Habanero's comes through too. I wonder what it would be like to reduce the amount of sugar. How would you adjust the other ingredients. Looking forward to trying it with cream cheese on a bagel.
