I've been making these for years, and when I can't find or don't have time to make pizza dough, I make it out of canned biscuits. They freeze well, too. I also make it with chicken tossed with a little bbq sauce (along with shredded gouda or cheddar, and sloppy joe meat (with shredded colby-jack. Taco meat or just about anything works. Good stuff.

My husband and I loved this recipe! We chose our own fillings. The sauce was delicious! I can't wait to make this again.

I mad this for me and my honey on our pizza night and they were delicious! They are also so convenient, you can put anything in them that you want. The Parmesan and EVOO on top almost made the pocket a little sweet, it was so yummy! Go make this! Thanks Jeff, you are awesome!

I made the pepperoni pizza pocket today, as I had all the ingredients on hand and they were EXCELLENT! Incredibly tasty and very easy to make. Outside, the pocket was crispy, thanks to the drizzle of olive oil and the grated Parmesan on top gave it even more flavor to the crust. On the inside, it was tender, gooey and meaty. Dipped with the fresh marinara sauce, it gave the pocket a punch of extra goodness. Loved it!!! Definitely will make them again!!!
