    the pretzels are great but they did turn out flat i don't know what happened but they tasted great
    i will make this again

    Halfed the recipe and everything still turned out great! The baking soda bath is the key to making the pretzels dark brown and crispy on the outside. I don't like pickled jalapeños so I used diced fresh jalapeño instead which made the cheese sauce delicious.

    Amazing. My husband had a brat with his pretzel bun and spicy cheese sauce. I made some of the buns round so I could have a hamburger. Both were delicious. My buns all turned out a little flat, but still great nonetheless. (Anyone know how to fix that or what I did wrong? Followed the instructions perfectly! There is just the two of us, so I am looking at the leftover buns now and want to eat them all. On that note, they do not store well (very soggy so this is not something that you can make very far ahead of time.

    At first I thought this would be hard to make but the pretzel buns came out perfect! Tasted excellent and the family agreed!
