These were soo good. I used course sea salt. I thought parchment paper was the same thing as waxed paper and the waxed paper stuck to the bottoms so I had to slice the bottoms off. Oh well. Will try it again. Sure do like the sound of the idea of making them into burger buns, will try that also.

These are amazing! Chewy, soft, salty and beautiful. Recipe was written beautifully and very easy to follow. Used my stand mixer and dough hook for easy kneading. Served them to my biggest fan (husband with the hotdog and cheese sauce. Yummy....anxious to see how they keep. thannks Jeff!

These were so amazing. This is the first time my husband and I saw something on the Food Network that looked so good we HAD to make it for dinner that night. The pretzel buns were really quite easy to make if you have some experience with bread making. However, be careful with the baking soda bath, mine boiled over and it was quite a mess!

Loved these pretzel buns. They're really soft and squishy. I made them round like hamburger buns, which made for the perfect delivery system for chicken breast off the grill with pickles, dijon mustard, and red onion. Omitted the garlic to have more of a classic pretzel flavor. These are most "pretzely" if you let them cool all the way down before eating.

They turned out pretty good, but a little on the flat side. I'm sure it was something I did since it was my first time trying something like this. I love all of Jeff's recipes. Try the other bread recipe from this episode for focaccia.
