    My husband and I made this after watching your show this past Sunday. We made this along with the french onion grilled cheese. They were both delicious. Thank you, we love your show and we watched you win when you were in the contest. We were rooting for you and glad you won! :

    Excellent! We saw this show on Sunday and made the soup the same day. I did adjust the recipe a little bit just to accommodate what I had in the house (milk vs. cream...but it was still excellent! In fact, my kids (son 11 and daughter 8 LOVED it...and they never liked tomato soup before this recipe!! We're definitely keeping this one on our list!

    Excellent! Thick, rich soup ... perfect on it's own with a French baguette! Will definitely add this to my recipe list.

    Saw the episode this morning and made the soup tonight, along with the french-onion grilled cheese. The soup takes time, but that is what develops the flavors. Tastes like the homemade tomato bisque at our favorite cafe. The canned tomatoes are quick, but I want to try it this summer when I have some fresh Roma tomatoes to roast. Delicious!
