I used your recipe, substituting chicken for the pork. It turned out great! I've learned a lot watching you on the Food Network Star and my lil girl and I eat pretty well, despite my wife being in Afghanistan for nearly a year now! Thanks for your insights, recipes and entertainment.

Jeff my boyfriend loves your show he saw the finale and he knew you were going to win we now have you on our dvr recordings lol tried the schnitzel on hamburger buns and we had no cabbage on hand but were gonna make it again in it's entirety he was so excited to make this receipe and we had fun making this together thanks for your inspiration love Hector and Jeanyce Nieves from Berwyn Illinois

This sounds so delish! I was just telling my daughter last weekend that I was going to have to look for a recipe for braised red cabbage, and this week, voila! You had it on your show! Had to laugh! I will try this during this week. Can't wait!

I really loved this dish. The best part of the whole thing was the different textures of the food. When i thought it was going to be too crunchy the mayo kicked in. Also the potato salad was delicious. I watch every week and all of your food network star episodes. Cant wait for next week. Ill get better at cooking one week at a time.

Schnitzel BISCUIT WOW. I'm always looking for a great BISQUIT recipe. I saw the show this morning and since I was going to make biscuits tonight for dinner I decided to try this one. It is FANTASTIC. I didn't have buttermilk so I substituted 1 1/2 cup of 2% greek yogurt, 3/4 cup each half and half and non-fat milk (that's all I had in the fridge. The next time I will try the whole sandwich recipe and make sure I have buttermilk. I cheered for you on the last food network competion and was thrilled you won. Great Show!

Jeff, good job on today's show with the schnitzel biscuits.....you hit it on the head with lots of great components. We enjoyed the M-I-L referrence and now we know you have some Southern exposure through your bride's family....points for you....haha! It's becoming our tradition to watch your show and then try to recreate it for Sunday lunch or supper, Having lived in Deutschland as Army folks your schnitzel was delish and the red cabbage and potato salad authentic with flavor. We'll be watching in Beaufort, SC. How about something shrimpy soon?
