YUM!!!!!!!! I'D NEVER HAD A CUBAN BEFORE, BUT LOVE SANDWICHES! THIS RECIPE WAS SO DELICIOUS AND EASY... THE ONLY STEP I ADDED WAS TO PUT THE SANDWICHES IN MY PANINI PRESS, WHICH I'D SEEN DONE ON TV... THANKS JEFF!!

This is Cuban sandwich is da' bomb - far better than I've had at any restaurant and the hubby agrees! The ONLY change we made was the bread. We bought an Italian loaf fresh at a local bakery, buttered and toasted our bread. Yummmmmm! This recipe is a keeper for sure.

Excellent flavor! Easy & inexpensive to make! Made the house smell fantastic! Left off the ham. (Thought it might be to salty. Wanted to cut down on portion size. Used whole wheat dinner rolls. Melted the swiss cheese under broiler. There were no left overs. The entire family loved it!

Great recipe! Personally I leave off the ham and turkey, the pork is too good on its own.

I made this for a Super Bow party and everyone loved it, I used a pork tenderloin instead and will probably double the liquid for the slow cooker next time I make it...thanks Jeff for an awesome recipe!
