This recipe is OUTSTANDING! Takes a little time but well worth it! The only change I made was the onion in the sauce. I didn't do the whole onion juice, I just finely diced an onion. You must make all of the sauces!

The Sandwich King does it again! The BBQ had some good zip. And the Southern White Sauce was like Bleu Cheese to a buffalo. Outstanding!

This was amazing. Our son-in-law made this for us and we immediately had to get the recipe from him. Thanks Jeff....

The Chipotle Vinegar BBQ sauce is the only one you'll ever need! It is so savory and balanced perfectly, I am using it on everything. I didn't have Vidalia onions so subbed regular yellow onions chopped fine and it was still great. The Southern White Sauce is new to me and now one of my favorites as well. My eight year old niece is a little wary of new things and she raves about it too. Keep up the great work! Love the show!

Amazing! I have made several of the Jeff's recipes and all of them have been excellent, but this is my favorite so far. I used chicken breasts instead of thighs because that's what I had on hand and made everything else as instructed. This is a must try!

I didn't need the red onions or the sauce; the chicken was fabulous with the Texas Toast. I served this to company, and they raved and took the recipe home. you sold me on this when I saw you making it on your show. Kudos to you Jeff on making it to Star! We watched you all through last season and were pulling for you - your big personality matched your big expertise of cooking for the everyday cook who likes to entertain. You are our hometown boy and we are so proud of you, and we enjoy your show. Keep 'em comin'.

This was very easy. I made all the items and my family loved it. My Uncle and Father who don't usually say much raved about everything and had thirds. I am not a big fan of chicken thighs but cooking then this way made them very tasty. What a budget friendly meal. I agree Jeff you are the KING!!!!!

Can't say I made the white sauce AND the pickled onions, but the chicken and chipotle sauce is great!

Made this for my wife and she loved it. My advice would be that the cooking time in the recipe was a little short. I needed to let my chicken go longer in the oven to get the shredding I wanted. To save time and $$ on ingredients, I used store bought BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's and added some chili flakes to give it an extra kick. Made the pickled onions and southern white sauce from scratch and they were fantastic!!! The other thing I liked about this dish is that it cost only me about $25 to get the necessary items since I had many of the base ingredients at home. Overall this was a GREAT dish Jeff, you are the KING!!!
