I forgot to mention we substituted gluten free 7 grain Crunchmaster crackers (put thru my food processor for the panko. The burgers held together very well and tasted really great!

Tasty little bean burgers! I agree with others reviews that this is a great recipe but you could certainly add more veggies to spice it up a bit. Mine were a little on the dry side, but I think it is because I have to use gluten free bread crumbs which absorb much more liquid than panko. So next time I will go easy on the bread crumbs. The sauce was fabulous and helps to keep the burgers moist and delicious!!! I doubled the recipe and froze a few. Will see how that works out and let you know!

Thank-you Jeff!! I have to admit I did change the recipe to a mexcian flavor. I added choped onion, red bellpeper, and a hatch chile peper roasted ,stem and seeds removed. Uesed a lime instead of lemon. It was yummy...

    Jeff, I love you!!!

This was really fantastic. I used fresh garlic instead of granulated (I grated on a microplane but otherwised followed the recipe and loved it. I served the patties on a greek salad instead of as a sandwich and it was perfect for two. It was so good, I am making it again tonight.

This may be the best sandwich, um, ever? (Except for that squash and manchego one from the Sandwich King that is also AMAZING. Reminiscent of falafel, and the cucumber yogurt sauce reminds one of a gyro. Really satisfying and I will definitely make this again. Thanks!!

Absolutely delish!!! Made them 2 nights in a row. Double the batch the 2nd night to have leftovers and my boyfriend still ate almost all of them. Super low cal/fat for WW. We just ate them by themselves without the bun or sauce. I did put a little chipotle bbq sauce on top. YUM. I went vegan and been looking for easy good to recipes and this is totally one of them. Thinking of switching it up and doing a Mexican version!!

These were delicious!!! Even my meat and potatoes man had a second helping. The only adjustment I made was I added a little less salt than the recipe called for. So good!

Saw the show today and was so impressed, made these for dinner! AAHHMAZING!!! Everyone loved them! I did add fresh garlic about 4 cloves. My husband made the sauce... It reminded me of felafel but healthier version!! Thank you sandwich king! And you ARE the sandwich king!! Awesome show! Great to watch when on the elliptical ; !
